About Well Nurse Clinic

Martin Forde

Well Nurse Clinic is a tribute to Martin Forde
and his love for helping and empowering others.

Michelle and Joelene have always had a passion for nursing and caring.  The decision to start Well Nurse Clinic arose from co-ordinating and advocating for their Late Dad Martin’s care and treatment (RIP 2021). They saw the health system as a whole from another perspective.

This triggered the need for the girls to develop a clinic that would have been ideal to optimise their Dads’ health and wellbeing. Offering a holistic approach to care and treatment to enhance Martin’s quality of life and give him optimal health for where he was at.  Although he was considered “palliative” the girls were very much, “live and let live” in their attitude to his care.

The girls understood the best way for Martin to face the challenges of cancer was to always try to help the body to be at its optimal health to give the best outcomes for treatments. Nutrition played a major role in his care in collaboration with medical treatments. 

Miraculously, Martin was considered Palliative, end of life in October of 2020, due to a combination of his determination, the health care system and the knowledge determination and advocacy of the girls, he managed to stay with them for a quality 8 months, before passing away in the comfort of his own home with his family around him, free of distress and pain.

Well Nurse Clinic is a new venture driven with a lot of passion to give to community health and the people.

We hear the need for more within our health system.

We mean to start as we go on to enhance and empower our Clients with High quality, affordable optimal health care and treatments. We aim to offer a tranquil, boutique like atmosphere within our clinic to give you a calm, reassuring, relaxing, supported experience.
